1. Butter a platter.
2. In a saucepan, add molasses, sugar, water and vinegar.
3. Boil this mixture until it becomes very brittle when dropped in cold water. Add butter to it.
4. Pour this mixture over a buttered platter.
5. When it cools down a bit, butter your hands and pull until light brown.
6. Pull into oblong strips and cut using a scissors.
