Homemade Holiday Peppermint Bark Candy

Pretty and festive Holiday Peppermint Bark candy that takes just 2 ingredients and gets ready within minutes. Perfect for the Christmas or New Year holidays or anytime.
Ingredients
  White chocolate morsels 2 Cup (32 tbs) (or 12 oz package)
  Hard peppermint candies 24 Small, unwrapped
  Cooking oil 1 Teaspoon (optional)
Directions

GETTING READY
1.Take a baking sheet and line with wax paper.

MAKING
2.In a microwave safe bowl add white morsels and microwave them on medium high power for about 1 minute and stir.Continue microwaving them at an interval of 10 to 15 seconds gently stir, repeat until the morsels are completely melted.If the mixture is too thick you can thin it with some cooking oil.
3.Take a Plastic food storage bag and add peppermint candies in it.
4.Using a hard object crush the peppermint candies.
5.Now take a strainer and hold it over the melted morsels and pour the crushed candies into the strainer and shake the strainer to release the small pieces and reserve the larger pieces.
6.Now stir the mixture and pour it on the prepared baking sheet and spread it to the desired thickness.
7.Sprinkle the reserved candy pieces on top and gently press them down.
8.Let it stand for 1 hour or until firm.

SERVING
9.To serve break into pieces.

TIP
Store this in an airtight container at room temperature.
