|Chopped pears||3 Cup (48 tbs)|
|Orange||1 Large, seeded and chopped|
|Maraschino cherries||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Drained crushed pineapple||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)|
|Lemon juice||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Chopped nuts||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Coconut||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Sugar||5 Cup (80 tbs)|
|Powdered pectin||1 Tablespoon (1 Package)|
Mix the pears, orange, cherries, pineapple, lemon juice, nuts and coconut.
Cook over high heat, stirring constantly until the fruit mixture comes to a full boil.
Add the sugar, stirring constantly, and boil hard for 1 minute.
Remove from heat and add the pectin.
Skim and stir for 5 minutes.
Pour into hot containers and seal at once.
