Ingredients

  Sugar 1 Cup (16 tbs)

  All purpose flour 2 Cup (32 tbs)
  Salt 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Soda 1 Teaspoon
  Baking powder 1 Teaspoon
  Flaked coconut 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Oats 2 Cup (32 tbs), uncooked (Quick-Cooking Or Regular)
  Chopped pecans 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Chopped gumdrops 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Directions

Cream shortening and sugars, add eggs and vanilla extract, and mix well.
Combine dry Ingredients and add to the creamed mixture.
Stir in coconut, oats, pecans, and gumdrops.
