Cinnamon Candied Apple Rings
|Sugar||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Water||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Red cinnamon candies||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)|
|Firm apples||4 , peeled and cored and sliced crosswise in 1/2 in rings|
Make syrup in a fry pan.
Cook the apple slices in syrup turning often until tender and transparent.
Remove to a deep platter with slotted spoon.
Pour remaining syrup over apples.
