|Ground almonds||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Mixed dried fruit||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Candied cherries||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs), washed and chopped|
|Shredded coconut||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)|
|Sugar||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs), firmly packed|
|Egg||1 Large, beaten|
1 Break up the chocolate and put into the base of a clean 2.25 litre/4 pint (10 cup) ice cream container.
2 Microwave on power 3 for 5 minutes, stirring twice during cooking.
3 Spread over the base of the container to coat. Refrigerate for 10 minutes until set.
4 Mix all the dry ingredients together in a 1.75 litre/3 pint (7 1/2 cup) mixing bowl. Bind with the beaten egg.
5 Spread the mixture over the set chocolate, evenly, pressing down with the back of a tablespoon.
6 Microwave on LOW power for 11 minutes.
7 Allow to cool in the container, then refrigerate. When chilled and firm, turn out and cut into tiny squares.
