Glaze For Hors D'Oeuvres And Canapes
|Unflavored gelatin||4 Teaspoon|
|Cold water||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)|
|Boiling water/Consomm||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
Combine gelatin andcoldwater; let stand until thickened.
Pour boiling water or stock over gelatin water mixture; chill until thickened.
Place hors d'oeuvres on cake rack with drip pan underneath.
Pour glaze over hors d'oeuvres; remelt any glaze that drips off.
Glazed hors d'oeuvres may be prepared a day in advance and stored in refrigerator in waxed paper lined boxes.
