Chili Bean Canape

Chili Bean Canape is quite a healthy blend of peppers, beans and cheese. This yummy delicacy is pretty easy to prepare and takes just a matter of a few minutes for the preparation part.
Ingredients
  Corn tortillas 12 , quartered
  Shortening 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Canned refried beans 8 Ounce
  Canned peeled green chili peppers 4 Ounce, chopped
  Longhorn cheese 1⁄4 Pound
Directions

Fry tortilla pieces quickly in very hot shortening, turning each piece once.
Place on ungreased cookie sheet.
Top with 1 tea spoonful of beans, 1/2 teasponful chili peppers and a 1 inch square slice of cheese.
Place under broiler until cheese has melted.
Serve hot.
