Chili Bean Canape
|Corn tortillas||12 , quartered|
|Shortening||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Canned refried beans||8 Ounce|
|Canned peeled green chili peppers||4 Ounce, chopped|
|Longhorn cheese||1⁄4 Pound|
Fry tortilla pieces quickly in very hot shortening, turning each piece once.
Place on ungreased cookie sheet.
Top with 1 tea spoonful of beans, 1/2 teasponful chili peppers and a 1 inch square slice of cheese.
Place under broiler until cheese has melted.
