Mushroom Cheddar Canapes
|Chili powder||1 Pinch|
|Heavy cream/Evaporated milk||2 Tablespoon|
|Canned mushrooms||4 Ounce, drained and finely chopped (Reserve Liquid)|
|Mushroom liquid/From can of mushrooms||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)|
|Grated cheddar cheese||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Parsley flakes||1 Tablespoon|
Place butter and chili powder in 1-quart casserole.
Microwave on HIGH until butter is melted.
Blend in flour.
Stir in cream and mushroom liquid.
Microwave 1 minute on HIGH.
Microwave 1 to 2 minutes on HIGH, or until cheese is melted.
Stir in mushrooms.
Spread mixture on Melba toast and garnish with parsley.
Place 10 at a time on a paper towel-lined plate.
Microwave 40 seconds on HIGH, or until hot.
