Canapes D Amour
|Butter||1 Ounce, softened (25 Gram)|
|Smoked salmon||4 Ounce (100 Gram)|
|Cream cheese||2 Ounce (50 Gram)|
|Freshly squeezed lemon juice||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Freshly ground black pepper||To Taste|
|Cucumber piece||1 Small, skinned (1 1/2 Inches In Size)|
|Mustard||250 Gram (1 Punnet, To Decorate Canapes)|
|Water cress||250 Gram (1 Punnet, To Decorate Canapes)|
1) Lightly toast and butter the bread, trim off the bread crusts.
2) In a liquidizer, blend together the salmon, cream cheese, lemon juice, salt and black pepper; stir in the finely diced cucumber, into the salmon mixture.
3) Cut out heart shapes from the toast with a cutter; spoon in the salmon mixture on to the toast.
4) Garnish with mustard or cress on each heart shape and serve immediately.
