Hot Clam Rarebit Or Canapes
|Creamed cottage cheese||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)|
|Cream cheese||4 Ounce|
|Soy sauce||2 Teaspoon|
|Powdered thyme||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Ground ginger||1⁄8 Teaspoon|
|Bread slices/Toast slices||12|
|Canned baby clams/Pacific oysters||5 1⁄2 Ounce, drained (1 Can)|
1)Chop the clams very finely. Mix with cream chees, cottage cheese, soy sauce, spices and salt.
2)To make canapes, cut bread slices or make toast slices into the flour.
3)Whole toast slices can also be used.
4)Coat clam-cheese mixture on bread pieces and broil for 3 to 5 minutes at 4 inch below heat until cheese bubbles.
