Sardine Canapes Butter

Ingredients
  Sardine paste 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs) (Or Mashed)
  Chopped dill pickle 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Butter/Margarine 2 Tablespoon
  Prepared mustard 1 Teaspoon
  Bread slices 6 , toasted (1/4 Inch Thick)
  Cream cheese 6 Ounce (2 Packages, 3 Ounce Each)
Directions

Combine the mashed sardines and chopped dill pickle.
Blend withthebutter, which has been worked with a spoon until soft, and the prepared mustard.
Cut crusts from toast and spread with sardine mixture.
Cut each slice in 2 crosswise strips and pipe edges with softened cream cheese pressed through pastry tube.
