|Water||50 Milliliter (1/4 cup)|
|Butter||1 1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|All purpose flour||45 Milliliter (3 tablespoon)|
|Freshly grated parmesan cheese||1 Tablespoon|
In small saucepan, combine water and butter; bring to boil.
When butter is melted, stir in flour all at once; remove pan from heat and stir until mixture forms a ball.
Beat in egg with wooden spoon until thoroughly incorporated.
Stir in cheese, if using.
Spoon dough into pastry bag fitted with plain 1/8 inch (3 mm) tip or small plastic sandwich bag with tip of one comer cut off.
Pipe batter into tiny balls the size of small peas onto greased and floured baking sheet.
Bake in 400Â°F (200Â°C) oven until puffed and golden, about 10 minutes.
Remove from pan and let cool on wire racks.
Store in airtight containers.
