Ingredients
  Plain pastry/Rough puff pastry 1
  Egg white 1
Directions

Roll out pastry to about 1/8-inch thickness, and cut into 4-inch squares.Place 2 or more ta-blespoons suitable savory filling just off center of each square.
Brush edge of each square with water, and fold pastry over to make a triangle; press edges together with fork tines.Place on cookie sheet; brush with egg white, and bake in 450°F. oven about 20 minutes.Makes 4.
Note: Fill with about 3/4 cup finely ground cooked meat moistened with gravy, slightly di-luted canned mushroom soup or chili sauce and seasoned to taste; or with 3/4 cup finely flaked and cooked fish (all bones removed) moistened with cream and sprinkled with chopped stuffed olives.
