|Fresh fish||3 Pound, cooked and mashed|
|Cakes||6 (Hard Bread)|
|Pork back fat||3⁄4 Pound|
Soak hard bread in cold water until soft (2 hours or overnight).
Bring hard bread to boil, remove from heat immediately and drain well.
Use potato masher to mash bread and fish together.
Then add salt pork which has been cut into small pieces and fried well, (scrunchions).
Mix all together and serve hot.
