Canadian Mushroom Sandwiches

Ingredients
  Kaiser rolls 6
  Butter/Margarine 1 1⁄2 Tablespoon, softened
  Chopped bacon 1 Tablespoon, uncooked
  Chopped onion 2 Tablespoon
  Sliced mushrooms 2 Ounce, drained (1 Jar)
  Snipped parsley 1 Teaspoon
  Smoked pork loin canadian bacon 1 Pound, cut 1/8 inch thick (18 Slices)
  Swiss cheese slices 6 Ounce (6 Slices, 1 Ounce Each)
  Green pepper rings 6
  Paprika To Taste
Directions

MAKING
1 Split the rolls; if desired, reserve tops to accompany open-faced sandwiches.
2 Spread the roll bottoms with butter.
3 In a 2-cup glass measuring cup, combine bacon, onion, mushrooms and parsley.
4 Cook uncovered in a microwave oven for about 2 minutes, or until onion is tender; stir once.
5 Arrange 3 slices Canadian bacon on each buttered roll and top with mushroom mixture and 1 slice cheese.
6 Place 1 green pepper ring on each cheese slice; sprinkle paprika inside the ring.
7 Place sandwiches on paper towels or roast rack.
8 Heat uncovered in a microwave oven for 4 to 6 minutes, or until cheese is bubbly and meat is hot.

SERVING
9 Serve the sandwiches garnished with a cherry tomato and a pimento-stuffed olive on each skewer.
