Crispy Almond Mix
|Almonds||2 Cup (32 tbs), shelled but not blanched|
|Cereal||2 Cup (32 tbs) (Shreddies)|
|Granulated sugar||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)|
|Chili powder||1⁄4 Teaspoon|
In bowl, beat egg white with water until frothy. Add almonds and Shreddies; stir to coat.
Stir together sugar, cinnamon, paprika and chili powder; add to nut mixture and toss to coat well. Spread in well-greased 13- X 9-inch (3.5 L) baking dish. Bake in 250Â°F (120Â°C) oven for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes. Makes 4 cups (1 L).
