Exotic Appetizer Balls
|Egg||1 , beaten|
|Worcestershire sauce||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Instant coffee||1 Tablespoon|
|Instant minced onion||4 Teaspoon|
|Water chestnuts||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs), chopped|
|Cracker crumbs||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
Lightly mix the meat with the egg, Worcester shire sauce, and Tabasco.
Blend with a mixture of the coffee, salt, and pepper.
Add the softened onion and water chestnuts; mix lightly.
Form mixture into 1-inch balls.
Roll in crumbs.
Brown meatballs in hot butter in a large heavy skillet over medium heat; shake frequently to obtain even browning and round balls.
