Half Hour Meal
|Frozen lima beans||10 Ounce|
|Pork sausage||1 Pound|
|Chopped onion||3 Tablespoon|
|Water||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Ground nutmeg||1⁄4 Teaspoon|
|Canned sliced ripe olives||4 Ounce (Drained)|
|Dairy sour cream||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
Cook lima beans following package directions; drain, if necessary.
Meanwhile, put sausage into a cold skillet and separate into pieces.
Add onion and 1/4 cup water cover, bring to boiling and simmer 10 minutes.
Drain off the drippings.
Then stir nutmeg and marjoram into skillet mixture.
Stir in a blend of 2 tablespoons water and the flour; bring to boiling and cook 1 to 2 minutes, stirring constantly.
Mix in the lima beans and olives.
Blend in the sour cream, a small amount at a time.
Heat thoroughly (do not boil).
