Saskatoon Pie With Pastry
|Pastry||1 (For 2 Crust 9 Inch Pie)|
|Saskatoons||4 Cup (64 tbs)|
|Lemon juice||1 Tablespoon|
|Sugar||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Flour/1 tablespoon cornstarch||2 Tablespoon|
|Ground cinnamon||1⁄8 Teaspoon|
|Ground cloves||1⁄8 Teaspoon|
Wash saskatoons, toss with lemon juice, and turn into unbaked pie shell.
Mix sugar, flour, salt, and spices.
Pour over saskatoons.
Dot with butter.
Cover with top crust.
Bake at 425°F 10 minutes, then reduce temperature to 350°F and bake 25 to 30 minutes.
