|Warm water||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Milk||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)|
|Salt||1 1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Sugar||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Flour||3 1⁄2 Cup (56 tbs)|
|Shortening||1⁄6 Cup (2.67 tbs)|
|Bell pepper||1 , diced|
|Onion||1 , diced|
|Ragu sauce||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
Dissolve yeast in water and set aside.
Scald the milk, salt and sugar.
Stir until dissolved and let stand until it cools to lukewarm.
Add yeast to milk mixture and half of the flour.
Stir in shortening and unbeaten egg with the remaining flour.
Place in a greased bowl.
Brush the top with shortening, cover with wax paper and put in the refrigerator for 2 hours.
Remove from refrigerator and roll out into 8 circles.
Fill with meat mixture.
Add grated cheese to the meat mixture and bake at 375 degrees for 25 minutes.
