Choose A Filling Calzones
|Refrigerated pizza dough||10 Ounce (1 Package)|
|Sausage mushroom filling/Ham-spinach filling / chicken-olive filling||1 Cup (16 tbs) (1 Recipe)|
|Egg||1 , beaten with 1 teaspoon water|
Unroll pizza dough.
Stretch dough into 15x 10-inch rectangle.
Cut into six 5-inch squares.
Divide desired filling among squares.
Brush edges with water.
Lift one corner and stretch dough over to opposite corner.
Press edges of dough well with tines of fork to seal.
Arrange on greased large baking sheet.
Prick tops with fork.
Brush with egg mixture.
Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese, if desired.
Bake in preheated 425°F convection oven on rack #2 or #3 offset for 6 to 8 minutes (or bake in preheated 425°F radiant bake oven 8 to 10 minutes) or until golden brown.
Let calzones stand 5 minutes before serving.
