Lemon Chiffon Cake

Lemon chiffon cake is a popular American dessert and a classic variant of the original chiffon cake. Chiffon cake is a light textured cake where butter is replaced by vegetable oil and eggs are constantly beaten till light and fluffy. This lemon chiffon cake has the added lemon juice into the flour-egg batter and hence the name. Sliced cakes are served with maple syrup, honey or other sweetening agents.
