Gelatin Poke Layer Cake
|9 inch baked white cake layers||2 , cooled|
|Jello gelatin/1 package of eight serving size, use any flavor||6 Ounce (2 Packages Of 3 Ounce Each With Four Serving Size)|
|Boiling water||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Non dairy whipped topping||8 Ounce, thawed (About 3.5 Cups, Preferably Cool WhipÂ®)|
Place cake layers, top-side up, in 2 clean 8- or 9-inch cake pans.
Prick each cake with utility fork at 1/2-inch intervals.
Dissolve gelatin in boiling water.
Carefully spoon over cake layers.
Chill 3 to 4 hours.
Dip 1 cake pan in warm water for 10 seconds; then unmold onto serving plate.
Top with about 1 cup of the whipped topping.
Unmold second cake layer and carefully place on first layer.
Frost top and sides with remaining whipped topping.
