Ladyfinger Sponge Biscuits

Lady fingers are long lady finger shaped vanilla deserts mae with flour. Made with eggs and sprinkled with sugar, the lady fingers are baked in the oven and served warm and delicious.
Ingredients
  Eggs 3 , separated
  Confectioners sugar 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), sifted
  Vanilla 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Flour 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), sifted
  Salt 1 Teaspoon
Directions

GETTING READY
1.Start by preheating the oven to 350F degrees
MAKING
2.Beat egg whites until stiff but not dry
3.Beat in sugar gradually
4.Beat egg yolks until thick, fold into egg whites, then fold in vanilla, flour and salt
5.Shape into (41/2 inch) fingers on baking sheet covered with heavy paper
6.Sprinkle with additional confectioners' sugar and bake in moderate oven for 10 to 12 minutes
7.Press together in pairs
SERVING
8.Serve with tea or coffee
