Sour Milk Chocolate Cake
|Shortening||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Sugar||1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)|
|Eggs||3 Small, separated|
|Cake flour||2 Cup (32 tbs), sifted|
|Baking soda||1 Teaspoon|
|Sour milk||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
1.Start by preheating the oven to 350F degrees
2.In a bowl, cream shortening, add half the sugar gradually; cream until fluffy; beat in yolks 1 at a time; stir in chocolate.
3.Sift flour, soda and salt together; stir in alternately with milk.
4.Beat whites until soft peaks form; gradually beat in rest of sugar; fold into batter.
5.Pour into 2 (9-inch) round layer pans, greased and lined.
6.Bake in the oven for 25 minutes.
7.Serve with ice cream
