Butterless Eggless Milkless Cake

Ingredients
  Sugar 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Shortening 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Water 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Raisins 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Nutmeg 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Salt 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Ground cloves 1 Teaspoon
  Cinnamon 1 Teaspoon
  Flour 2 Cup (32 tbs)
  Baking powder 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Baking soda 1 Teaspoon (dissolved in 1 tablespoon of hot water)
  Walnuts 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), chopped
Directions

Boil the first 8 ingredients together for 3 minutes.
Let mixture cool.
Add remaining ingredients.
Mix well.
Bake at 325°F in a loaf tin for 45 minutes or until done.
