Pound Cake With Lemon Orange Sauce

|For lemon orange sauce:|
|Lemons||2 , halved and thinly sliced|
|Oranges||2 , halved and thinly sliced|
|Water||250 Milliliter (1 cup)|
|Granulated sugar||175 Milliliter (3/4 cup)|
|Raisins||50 Milliliter (1/4 cup)|
|Unsalted butter||50 Milliliter (1/4 cup)|
Lemon Orange Sauce: In 8 cup (2 L) casserole, combine lemons, oranges, water and sugar; cover and microwave on High for 8 to 10 minutes or until fruit is soft, stirring halfway through cooking time.
Let stand for several hours at room temperature or overnight in refrigerator.
Before serving, stir in raisins and butter; cover and microwave on High for 6 to 8 minutes or until hot.
Let stand for a few minutes before stirring in vanilla Serve over slices of pound cake.
