Nut Pound Cake
|Butter||1 Cup (16 tbs), softened|
|Sugar||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Vanilla||1 1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Flour||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Baking powder||1 1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Coarsely chopped pecans||1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)|
With electric mixer, cream butter, sugar, eggs and vanilla until light and fluffy.
Stir flour and baking powder together; stir in pecans.
Add dry ingredients to creamed mixture and mix well.
Pour into greased and floured bread 'n cake bake pan; cover.
Place in crock pot.
Cover and bake on high setting for 2 to 3 hours or until cake tests done with a wooden pick.
Remove pan and uncover.
Let stand 5 minutes.
Unmold on cake rack.
