|Codfish||1 Pound, cooked, boned, and flaked|
|Potatoes||2 , cooked and diced|
|Eggs||4 , beaten|
|Milk||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Black pepper||1⁄4 Teaspoon|
|Chopped onion||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Chopped celery||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Flour||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Tomato sauce||1 Tablespoon|
|Shortening||2 Cup (32 tbs) (For Deep Frying)|
Combine all ingredients except tomato sauce and shortening.
Mix thoroughly drop by tablespoonfuls into deep fat at 400Â°.
Fry until lightly browned; drain on absorbent paper; serve with hot tomato sauce
