Ingredients
  Codfish 1 Pound, cooked, boned, and flaked
  Potatoes 2 , cooked and diced
  Oil 1 Tablespoon
  Eggs 4 , beaten
  Milk 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Black pepper 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Salt 1 Teaspoon
  Chopped onion 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Chopped celery 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Flour 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Tomato sauce 1 Tablespoon
  Shortening 2 Cup (32 tbs) (For Deep Frying)
Directions

Combine all ingredients except tomato sauce and shortening.
Mix thoroughly drop by tablespoonfuls into deep fat at 400°.
Fry until lightly browned; drain on absorbent paper; serve with hot tomato sauce
