Lemon Cake Pie
|Sugar||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Flour||2 Ounce (2 Heaping Tablespoon)|
|Melted butter||2 Tablespoon|
|Milk||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Lemon||1 , juiced and zest grated|
|Unbaked pie shell||1 (9 Inch)|
Preheat the oven to 450 degrees.
Combine the sugar and flour in a bowl.
Add the butter, egg yolks and milk; stir until smooth.
Stir in the lemon juice and zest.
Beat the egg whites until stiff peaks form; fold into the lemon mixture.
Spoon into the pie shell.
Bake for 15 minutes.
Reduce oven temperature to 350 degrees, bake for 20 minutes longer or until cake surface is firm.
