Pie Filling Coffee Cake

Ingredients
  Eggs 4
  Sugar 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Vegetable oil/Canola oil 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Vanilla extract 1 Teaspoon
  Flour 2 Cup (32 tbs)
  Baking powder 1 Teaspoon
  Salt 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Canned fruit pie filling 21 Ounce (1 Can Of 21 Ounce)
  Confectioners sugar frosting 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
Directions

Beat the eggs in a large mixing bowl.
Add the sugar, vegetable oil and vanilla; beat until smooth.
Beat in a mixture of the flour, baking powder and salt.
Spread half the batter in a greased and floured 9x13 inch cake pan.
Spread the pie filling over the batter.
Layer the remaining batter over the pie filling.
Bake at 350 degrees for 50 minutes.
Drizzle with a confectioners' sugar frosting.

first time i made this recipe, i followed the instructions and everyone loved it! now i'm trying it with butter instead of oil, to see if there's any difference. this is a good cake recipe and will use it from now on, even using different fillings.
