|Crushed peppermint candy/Chopped california walnuts||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Meringue||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
Scoop ice cream in 4 balls.
Roll in candy or walnuts.
Prepare Meringue as for pie, using 3 egg whites see step by step recipe, .
Put dessert cups on ungreased baking sheet; place ice cream ball in each.
Quickly swirl meringue over top and sides, sealing to cake.
Bake in extremely hot oven (500Â°) 2 minutes or till meringue is lightly browned.
