Quick Angel Food Cake
|Cake flour||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Sugar||1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)|
|Cream of tartar||2 Teaspoon|
|Egg whites||1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)|
Sift flour and sugar together 2 to 3 times.
Beat egg whites, then add cream of tartar and continue beating until stiff.
Fold in sugar, a little at a time.
Fold in flour.
Bake in ungreased 10 inch tube pan at 350 degrees F for about 50 minutes or until cake tests done.
Invert pan on cake rack.
Remove cake when cold.
