Chocolate Mud Cake

Chocolate mud cake is a decadent chocolate cake prepared with loads of indulgence. Baked with a batter of flour, sugar, chocolate, eggs and decorated with chocolate folds and whipped cream garnish, the chocolate mud cake can be served on special ocassions.
Ingredients
  Plain flour 150 Gram
  Egg 1
  Castor sugar 140 Gram
  Butter 120 Gram
  Water 125 Milliliter
  Dark chocolate 40 Gram, chopped
  Cocoa powder 10 Gram
  Dark chocolate 25 Gram
  Dark cooking chocolate 100 Gram
  Light corn syrup 25 Milliliter
  Icing sugar 1 Teaspoon
  Baking powder 1 Teaspoon
  Thick cream 200 Gram (For The Garnish)
  Castor sugar 4 Tablespoon (For The Garnish)
  Chocolate gems 20 Gram (For The Garnish)
  Dark chocolate 40 Gram (For The Garnish)
  Milk chocolate 40 Gram (For The Garnish)
Directions

Mix butter, water and sugar, in a 1.5 litre dish, microwave, on 100%power for 3:00minutes.
Stir twice during cooking.
Stir in the chocolate and mix well till smooth.
Sieve together the flour, cocoa powder and baking powder.
Add the chocolate mixture to the flour and beat well.
Beat in the eggs and extra chocolate pre heat the oven on 'convection' at 180° C.
Pour the batter, into a 1 litre greased and dusted cake dish.
Bake at 180°C for 55:00minutes.
To model the chocolate Place the chocolate, in a 1/2 litre dish, microwave, on 100%power for 1:00 minute.
Stir well.
Add the corn syrup and microwave, at 100%power till the mixture becomes slightly grainy.
Cover and keep aside till firm.
Gently knead the chocolate on a surface sprinkled with icing sugar, till soft and smooth.
Roll between sheets of baking paper into a large circle.
Place the chocolate on the cake, gently lifting and making decorative folds.
Garnish with whipped cream and gems.
