Ingredients
  Butter 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Sugar 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Eggs 2
  Salt 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Vanilla 2 Teaspoon
  Flour 2 Cup (32 tbs)
  Baking powder 1 Teaspoon
  Baking soda 1 Teaspoon
  Buttermilk 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Brown sugar 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  White sugar 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Flour 2 Tablespoon
  Margarine 2 1⁄2 Tablespoon
  Nuts 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), finley chopped
  Cinnamon 1 1⁄2 Teaspoon
Directions

Cream together butter, sugar and eggs.
Sift dry ingredients together and add alternately with buttermilk to first mixture; add vanilla.
Pour half the batter into greased 9" x 9" pan.
Top with nut mixture; repeat.
Bake at 350 degrees for 35 to 40 minutes.
Work all ingredients together until crumbly.
