Almond Flip-Top Cake
|Almonds||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs), chopped or ready diced|
|Yellow cake mix/White cake mix||15 Ounce (1 Loaf Sized)|
Melt butter in an 8x8x2 inch pan; spread over bottom and sprinkle with sugar, then with almonds.
Prepare cake mix according to package directions.
Carefully pour the batter over the nuts.
Bake in moderate oven (375Â°) 25 to 30 minutes.
Invert on rack and cool.
Split cake into 2 layers; spread cooled Orange Filling between.
