|Cake mix||16 Ounce|
|Almond extract||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Vanilla frosting||1 Cup (16 tbs) (From A 1 Pound, 5 Ounce Can)|
|Food coloring||1 Pinch (Use Red, Green Or Yellow)|
Line three baking pans, 9x9x2, with wax paper; grease paper.
Prepare pound cake mix with milk and eggs, following label directions; divide evenly into prepared pans.
Bake in slow oven (325Â°) for 20 minutes, or until a wooden pick inserted in tops comes out clean.
Cool in pans on a wire rack for 5 minutes; remove from pans; peel off wax paper.
Stir almond extract into frosting in a bowl; divide in thirds.
Tint one pink, one green and one yellow with food colorings.
Spread each on a cake layer; stack layers.
Cut into eighths crosswise, then fifths lengthwise.
Trim with frosting rosettes, if you wish.
