|Baking powder||1 Teaspoon|
|Milk||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Sugar||3 Cup (48 tbs)|
|Sifted flour||3 Cup (48 tbs)|
Cream butter and sugar well.
Add eggs, one at a time, beating for 5 minutes after each addition.
Add flour and baking powder alternately with the milk.
Bake in a tube pan for 1 hour in a 350 degree oven.
Test for doneness with a toothpick.
This sugar crusted cake needs no frosting.
