|Butter||1 Cup (16 tbs), softened|
|Powdered sugar||3 1⁄4 Cup (52 tbs), sifted|
|Cake flour||3 Cup (48 tbs), sifted|
|Milk||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)|
|Vanilla extract||1 Teaspoon|
Cream butter; gradually add sugar, beating at medium speed of an electric mixer until well blended.
Add eggs, one at a time, beating after each addition.
Combine flour and salt, add to creamed mixture alternately with milk, beginning and ending with flour mixture.
Stir in vanilla.
Pour batter into a greased pan.
Bake at 325°F for 55 minutes or until a wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean.
Cool in pan 10 minutes, remove from pan, and cool completely on a wire rack.
Slice and serve.
