Molasses Snack Cake

Ingredients
  Egg 1 , beaten
  Molasses 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Boiling water 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Raisins 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)
  All purpose flour 2 Cup (32 tbs)
  Baking soda 1 Teaspoon
  Salt 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Ground cinnamon 2 Teaspoon
  Ground ginger 2 Teaspoon
  Vegetable oil 1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)
Directions

Combine egg, molasses, and water, stir well.
Combine 1/4 cup flour and raisins, tossing well, set aside.
Combine 2 cups flour, soda, salt, cinnamon, and ginger, stir into molasses mixture.
Add raisin mixture and oil, mix well.
Pour into a greased and floured 11 x 7 x 1 1/2-inch baking pan, bake at 350° for 25 to 30 minutes or until a wooden pick inserted in the center comes out clean.
