|Barley flour||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Sugar||1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)|
|Baking powder||2 1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Butter/Margarine||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), softened|
|Mashed ripe bananas||1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)|
|Nuts||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
Combine whole wheat flour, barley flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt in Bosch mixing bowl.
Add butter or margarine, vanilla, eggs, and half of the bananas.
Add the remaining bananas and nuts, and mix for 1 minute.
Pour into two greased and lightly floured 8-inch round cake pans.
Bake in a 350°F. oven for 1 hour or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
Cool for 10 minutes; remove from pans.
When completely cool, frost between layers, on the sides, and on top.
