This HurryUp Cake is a quick desert for those pressed for time ! Try this HurryUp Cake anyday and tell me if you like it !
  Brown sugar 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)
  Whole wheat flour 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)
  Barley flour 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Baking powder 1 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Salt 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Egg 1
  Cooking oil 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Milk 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)

Combine the dry ingredients in Bosch mixing bowl.
Break egg into a 1 cup measuring cup, and add enough cooking oil to measure 1/2 cup.
Add milk, and stir with a fork to combine.
Combine liquid and dry ingredients, and stir well.
Season to taste with almond or lemon flavoring or nutmeg.
Pour into a wellgreased and floured 9 inch round cake pan.
Bake in a 350° F. oven for 30 minutes or until cake tests done.
Cool 10 minutes; remove from pan.
Cake may be frosted; served with a warm caramel, chocolate, or lemon sauce; or used for strawberry shortcake.
NOTE: Recipe may be doubled to fill a 9 x 13 inch pan.
