Gooey Chocolate Fudge Cake
|Unsweetened chocolate squares||3|
|Butter||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), softened|
|Sugar||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Cake flour||2 1⁄2 Cup (40 tbs)|
|Soda||2 3⁄4 Teaspoon|
|Ice water||1 1⁄3 Cup (21.33 tbs)|
Place chocolate in 1-cup measure.
Microwave on HIGH, or until melted.
Set aside to cool.
Cream together butter, sugar, eggs and vanilla in large mixing bowl, beat until light and fluffy.
Blend in chocolate.
Mix in flour, soda and salt alternately with ice water, beating after each addition until mixture is smooth.
Pour half the batter into 8-inch cake dish.
Microwave 6 minutes, 30 seconds to 7 minutes on HIGH, or until a wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean.
Let stand 5 minutes.
Turn out on cake rack.
Prepare and bake second layer.
