Apple Cinnamon Cake
|Firmly packed brown sugar||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Pumpkin pie spice||1 Teaspoon|
|Cooking apple||1 Medium, cored and sliced|
|Yellow cake mix||9 Ounce|
Place butter in 8-inch round micro proof baking dish.
Cook on HI, 1 1/2 minutes.
Stir in brown sugar, and pumpkin pie spice.
Spread evenly over bottom of dish.
Arrange apple slices around edge of dish.
Prepare cake mix according to package directions.
Pour batter over apples.
Cook on 50, 6 to 7 minutes, or until top begins to set.
Rotate dish one-half turn and cook on HI, 2 minutes.
Let stand 5 minutes before inverting onto serving platter.
