Flaming Angel Cake
|Angel food cake mix||15 Ounce|
|Apricot preserves||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Rum||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
Prepare 1 (15-oz.) pkg. angel food cake mix according to directions, bake and cool.
Turn cooled cake onto serving plate.
Combine 1 cup apricot preserves and 1/4 cup of the rum in a small saucepan.
Heat gently, stirring constantly to blend well.
Spoon sauce over cake.
Heat remaining 1/4 cup rum, ignite and pour, flaming, over cake.
