Egg Yolk Sponge Cake

Ingredients
  Egg yolks 6
  Baking powder 2 Teaspoon
  Sugar 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Hot water 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Pastry flour 1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)
  Flavoring 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Salt 1⁄4 Teaspoon
Directions

Beat egg yolks until thick.
Add sifted sugar and continue beating.
Sift together flour, baking powder and salt, and add alternately with hot water, continue beating until thoroughly blended.
Add flavoring.
Pour in an ungreased tube pan and bake in a slow oven of 320° F. for 1 hr.
