Egg Yolk Sponge Cake
|Baking powder||2 Teaspoon|
|Sugar||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Hot water||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Pastry flour||1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)|
Beat egg yolks until thick.
Add sifted sugar and continue beating.
Sift together flour, baking powder and salt, and add alternately with hot water, continue beating until thoroughly blended.
Pour in an ungreased tube pan and bake in a slow oven of 320Â° F. for 1 hr.
