Butter Milk Pound Cake
|Butter||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)|
|Raw honey/Pure maple syrup||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Buttermilk||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)|
|Whole wheat pastry flour||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Low sodium baking powder||3 Teaspoon|
|Sea salt||1⁄8 Teaspoon|
|Grated lemon rind/Vanilla||1 Teaspoon|
Combine all ingredients at one time.
Mix for 5 minutes until smooth.
Pour into a greased and floured 9x5 inch loaf pan.
Bake 30 to 40 minutes at 350°F.
This recipe may be made into cupcakes or doubled and made into a layer cake.
Granola cake may be made by sprinkling granola on the bottom of the pan.
Add the batter.
Sprinkle granola on top of the batter.
