Chocolate Sponge

Ingredients
  Milk 2 Cup (32 tbs)
  Unsweetened chocolate square 2
  Flour 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Sugar 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Salt 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Melted butter 2 Tablespoon
  Egg yolks 3
  Vanilla 1 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Egg whites 3
  Sweetened whipped cream 1 Tablespoon
Directions

Heat oven to 350 degrees.
Butter and sugar a 1 1/2-qt.casserole.
Heat milk and chocolate in top of double boiler over simmering water until chocolate is melted.
Beat with rotary beater until smooth.
Combine flour, sugar, salt, butter and egg yolks in a bowl and beat well.
Stir in chocolate-milk mixture and vanilla.
Cool.
Beat egg whites until soft peaks form and fold into chocolate mixture.
Pour into prepared casserole.
Set in pan of hot water (1 inch deep) and bake 45 minutes or until sponge is set in the middle.
Serve warm with sweetened whipped cream.
