One Bowl Banana Cake
|Cake and pastry flour||500 Milliliter|
|Granulated sugar||300 Milliliter|
|Baking powder||10 Milliliter|
|Baking soda||2 Milliliter|
|Mashed very ripe bananas||250 Milliliter|
|Chocolate peanut butter icing||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
In large bowl, mix together flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda and salt.
Add bananas, shortening, buttermilk, eggs and vanilla.
Using electric mixer, beat at medium speed for 2 minutes.
Pour into greased 9-inch (2.5 L) square cake pan; bake in 350Ã‚Â°F (180CC) oven for 40 to 45 minutes or until top springs back when lightly touched.
Let cool in pan on rack.
Spread with Chocolate Peanut Butter Icing.
Sprinkle with chopped peanuts (if using).
